Esprit Fashion Week, Sunway Pyramid

Last Saturday I went to Pyramid, luckily I brought along my Canon as I didn't know there was a Esprit Fashion Show in Pyramid - Old Wing. The show started at 3pm, without wasting any precious time, I took out my cam and started shooting. Here some of the outcomes from the show.

The Tamrons 17-50 F2.8 Lens

Last week I went to Genting with my family. Took few pics with my newly bought Tamron lens. Here are some of the results:

It produces pretty sharp pictures and definitely a plus for low light situations like wedding, parties, and etc. This Tamron 17-50 has a big aperture of F2.8 and it has a fast focusing as well. There is only one downside which I like to comment, the sound of the focus is quite loud and it might be annoying to some people. However, I still consider it as acceptable because of the pricing range. A newly Tamron 17-50 F2.8 lens will cost you from any range of Rm 1600- RM 1700. That is more than half of a Canon 17-55 F2.8 IS lens which costs around RM 4000+. If you want to try out a big aperture lens, why not try a Tamron 17-50 F2.8 lens. It will definitely give you a kick and gives you a lot benefits as well. As for the overall review, the Tamron is definitely value for money for its price range and it gives you the flexibility during low light situations with fast focusing as well.

SAP BW/BI in the Making

I am back for blogging session. The last time I blogged was in March 2008, months back. Hahaha, anyway I am busy with my work. Recently I was being transferred to another module in SAP which is called BW = Business Information Warehousing or BI = Business Intelligence. It mainly deals with reporting tools for C level management people to use to make decision according to the reports posted to them. Its something as similar as Decision Support System (DSS).

Currently I'm placed in a project which involves my company's HR system. It pretty interesting to explore HR materials in terms of employee's performance, policies, company performance, and many more. This project has 4 in a team and a Project Manager which is the HR Manager, one of the best manager in this world has to offer. There is also a senior SAP Consultant in this team who guide us along the way. The rest of us are newbies to the SAP world, thus we need to bucket up for exciting journey in SAP.

There are uproar, tremor, havoc and etc problems in my life now. I am trying to recover from it as soon as possible so it would not get worsen. Anyway got to go now, will blog more once I am free. Byez

Its been a very long time ever since I blogged, working life had just started for me. There goes my college days & the relaxing moment as now the reality comes in for every fresh youngsters like myself to face the real world dealing with ups and downs in life. I have started my job as a Trainee Consultant in SAP line and I am placed under ABAP module which involves requirements gathering, programming, implementation, support & etc. It has been a good start, with very nice seniors & colleagues guiding me along the journey. In a few months time, I will be a Associate Consultant and god knows what I will do later on. Anyway going to sleep now, signing off...good night!

It comes with a price tag of RM 5988 which its kinda costly but it sure is a perfect mobility business laptop for everyone's dream to have it. For me, I'm still not sure whether I want to buy it but I will think it twice before I make the right decision.

Life Today

Got the latest news by my college mates, the e-marketing project submission has been postponed to 1st of June. A superb relief for me, at least for now. Been really stress these few weeks but I manage to pull it through without getting "injured", hahaha. After this blardy week, it would be an independence day for me and my classmates. I'll be going to Ipoh this coming friday with my family to enjoy some food delight in Ipoh, of course release stress at the same time. Next week there will be many plans organised by classmate and the computing gang, includes Sing K, movies, dinner, and to what ever we can possibly do after such a terrible few weeks. Hehehe. of cos one of the main priorities of next week's plan will be accompany my darling Siao Hui for movies, makan, shopping, and whatever she like. Its all up to her to decide as she also has a terrible week preparing for presentations and submitting projects. She hasn't had any enough sleep and sleep would be a luxury plan for her for now. Hehehe, other friends are doing quite well especially Alex Wong manage to back off from the love relationship that might cause his studies. He has been concentrating in his final year project since last week and not thinking about any unimportant stuff. He knows what to prioritised in the first place.

There will be another 5 more months towards finishing this degree course. I do not know the outcome yet and how is it gonna be in this 5 months preparing for my final year project with all the research, system development, system implementation, and all those stuff which relates to it. What I hope is for the best. The best thing would be having a 2nd upper class hons will satisfy me alot. Hope God will be by my side, guide me through this route. Two Weeks of Torture

OMG, college life really gives me a big headache. One project after another, for the past two weeks I was like having 5 hours of sleep a day rushing for preparation for various projects especially my final year project mid-point presentation showing research and analysis to my project advisor. After that, there is still more to come with GCS, CIMISO, and E-Marketing. Really superb headache but as one of my best friend Danlo told me to take it as a challenge in life. Practice in college rather than practicing these challenges in corporate world. It will not be so sweet when its in corporate world with all back stabbing, politics, workloads, datelines, and etc. Nonetheless, I will keep my faith on doing my very best in order to complete my college degree with flying colors. Hahaha, how I wish..hehehe.. Signing off now, God Bless You guys.

Dinner at 3.45pm, hahaha. Such an early reunion dinner. I forgot to take those dishes photos, crap. There is steamed white chicken dressed with fried ginger sauce, baby abalone cooked with "sang choy", a pot of vegetable, and chicken soup with spring onion. Yum yum, definitely my mum is the best cook in the world. No doubt.

Me and my family going Genting later around 8pm or 9pm because my dad want to try out his New Year luck in Uncle Lim's Casino. Hahaha, hopefully he wins ler. Kekekek. Anyway thats it for now.

Today started with a wake up call at 8.30am, straight to the bathroom. Prepare myself & got out at 9.30am. On the way to college I called my girlfriend as I'm going to fetch her at the Bukit Jalil Starline. We were caught in a traffic jam from the Bukit Jalil Starline due to some construction concrete which couldnt make it's turn in front of TPM(Technological Park Malaysia) and causing silly traffic jam. Then reach college around 10am which made us late for the orientation. Luckily I had my classmates who came late as well so we went in together. Our APIIT Centre Manager was giving out administrational briefing while we were walking into the Auditorium. Blardy fool, no respect yeh!..hehehe. Anyway all those briefing stuff ends at 1pm, after that we went to have our lunch in OUG area. Back at 2.45pm in college with the next briefing which is the final year degree briefing till 3.30pm and we waited for half an hour for the next Business Generation Briefing at 4pm which ends at 4.30+pm. Then we went straight to Shukran to yumcha with other classmates + computing classmates as well. Around 6.30pm I'm back at home. Thats why its another boring day in APIIT, TPM. Hell Breaks Loose Today

Now its 12.39am, 10 hours before commencing of my APIIT Final Year Degree Orientation. Hell is gonna break loose, one of my coursemates sms me that the orientation will start at 10am and ends at 6pm. What a shock? Let me guess, FYP briefing or what? But 8 hours is a joke man. What is APIIT doing? Nuts or what? But I couldnt care less because I will go back early if there is nothing much to be covered. Thought it will be around 2 hours for the orientation and I can carry on with my outing plans but I have to rescheduled it for another day. APIIT, u made my day "well". Got back from Jogoya. It was fantastic with varieties of dishes such raw oyster, lots of unagi, one more thing "LOH SANG" (its free, muahahahaha. Courtesy from Jagoya), steamed fish(omg, I didnt know they serve this kind of dish), various types King Crab dish, and cooling refreshing coconut juice. There were many of us, started eating from 5.30 to 7.30 and we stopped for half & hour then continue our march towards the fullest. Hahahaha. We left around 10.30pm. I'm so full now even after shower. Anyway good nite yeah, continue my story next day. Byez

Back from Genting Trip

Just came back from my gf's house, the genting trip was nice with the cool breezy wind but the temperature was 12 celsius at night. I didn't know that the Mushroom Farm at Genting has good food with a reasonable price. Anyhow it was great with servings of asam steamed fish, oyster sauce chicken, pork braised, and lastly Bak Kut Teh. Nothing much to be said as genting is a place that often being visited. Hahaha.
